Meet Our Founders
Marcellin Mutuyimana
(CO-FOUNDER) holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics Education from Georgia State University (Atlanta, USA) and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Wright State University, (Dayton, USA). Marcellin has been a mathematics teacher in Atlanta Public Schools and in Abu Dhabi Vocational Training Institute for several years.
Aimee Fidela Halleluya
(CO-FOUNDER / MANAGING DIRECTOR) holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Phoenix (Phoenix, USA). She has held teaching positions in international schools in the United Arab Emirates. Aimee has is an experienced educator in Early Childhood development.
Our Founder's Motivation
The purpose of Elimu Village, Inc. is to champion holistic educational development in underprivileged African communities. This involves constructing schools, enhancing educational infrastructure, providing financial support to teachers, mobilizing volunteers, offering staff training, and establishing libraries and learning centers. Through strategic collaborations with individuals and organizations, Elimu Village strives to achieve shared goals and foster valuable networks in the field of educational advancement.
